Al Hyams is an outdoor enthusiast who for many years has
enjoyed roaming "the back 40" of Northern Michigan to observe and record
images pleasing to the eye. Years ago his first camera was a Kodak Bantam 828 that
held an eight picture roll of film. This he carried while exploring Michigan and
Canada, while cycling through central Europe, and throughout his Alaskan army service.
Today, Al continues to ramble Northwest Michigan with his wife Gerry and cameras
in search of interesting photographs.
